An engineer who works for me told me that screws that are thread-locked can be removed if heat is applied. I'm thinking of using a soldering gun to heat up the screws on top of the carb to access the plastic spacer.
Besides the obvious gasoline flash-point concern, is this a bad idea? Do you think it'll work? Any potential damage (like to the rubber diaphragm inside)?
